A new film about Joey and Robert narrated by Liam Neeson will get its premiere in Belfast during the Belfast Film Festival this March. More details HERE. The film will be showing at the Moviehouse on the Dublin Road on Thursday 27th March and tickets are only £7. Got to be worth a trip (as well getting a few down your neck on the Golden Mile..... )? Buy your 'Road' ticket here. M.

Just read elsewhere that both Michael and William had microphones sewn into their leathers for the onboard footage - that should make it interesting! M.

Was thinking of going to this film but checked my shifts this morning and I finish late that week I'm sure it will be on tv in a few months.

Shame you can't make it but I've read that there may be a DvD coming out at some point? Maybe one of the other lads will be able to go and give us a review? M.

It should be decent enough I would have thought......I don't think old Liam would be associated with it if it was a bag of shoite!?! M.

Anyone manage to get there tonight? Just read on another website that the film's pretty special and catches all of the emotion. It's supposed to be getting shown by the BBC later in the year so I'll hopefully be home in time to watch it. M.

OK mate. It would be interesting to see what other people made of it as the few posters who have shared their thoughts so far have all agreed it's well worth seeing. M.

It's not a light affair for bike racing, it shows all the warts, according to some who have seen the film it's quite dark, it doesn't glamorize road racing and even shows footage of Robert Dunlops accident that hasn't been seen before.
It will be out for general release in June in cinemas and also showing on the BBC.

Yep, read the same by guys straight after they got back home from viewing the premiere - emotional, shocking, tear-jerking were all descriptions used. I don't think the film is 'light' viewing in any way but a pretty thorough look at the real commitment road racers make to the sport. M.
