Striped the plastics off last night but got stuck into it tonight big time, no major issues Found another big crack in the frame on the inside The engine looks ok, the rad is a bit out of shape but is still useable Got the alarm off as well so it could be sold, missed the power commander bid £101 but it sold at £103. Did buy a new carbon fibre front mudguard tonight for £29. Need to give all the parts a good clean before I start the reassembly. Striping down is easy, rebuilding it will take a bit longer. I will put some pictures on the main site as well .

Coming on rightly mate and I must admit there was no surprise when you said the rear sub-frame was bent - no wonder! I take it the front forks turned out ok and it was a bent headstock/frame causing the 'tightness'? M.

Flippin heck mate - you're not hanging about! ;D There's a set of OEM clocks here: Don't know what they'll go for but, if you could get them for £75 they would be a bit of a bargain. M.

Sorry not been updating this thread for awhile. Not much changed on the bike, been waiting for parts to get it finished
I have now sorced a set of clocks and a front mudguard, I had bought a set of race fairings which they guy thought were of an 06 bike. But turned out to be of a 05. No great loss as they cost me £30! Including postage. Put them back on eBay and sold them for £150. Then bought an new 07 race fairing for £100 but I still need the seat unit.
Alsonboughtva set of rear sets but need to make some adapter plates,

Say that again! ;D Good to get up the other night and see (and hear) the old girl once again. Coming on nicely mate. I thought I saw a seat unit for sale on eBay the other night? Not sure on the price either but it might be worth trawling back through the pages to see if it's still there? Mark.

Just in case anyone was wondering - the build continues and she really is taking shape now: Seat/Tail unit on its way and a wee bit of work on the wheels and rearsets and she'll be almost ready for a try out! ;D Good effort Jack. M.
