Well, that didn't last long did it? MD and BMW are going their separate ways with what looks like Tas BMW (not Suzuki) taking the lead for the German manufacturer. More info HERE but what I want to know is......what the hell happened between MD and BMW?!? He's not even racing for them at Macau next month so something has gone very wrong and quickly. If BMW have dropped him in favour of Tas then that's a real kick in the teeth after what MD achieved at the TT but I suspect there's something else? This is MD we're talking about after all. Still, he's not talking about a gap year so it'll be doubly interesting to see what he turns up on next year. M.
