MD has opted to start at No3 for the TT Superbike and Senior races this year. Going to be fascinating to see what he can do on the new Yamaha but, regardless, there's something just 'right' about a Dunlop racing with No3. Here's the line-up for the rest (of the best....... ) 1. John McGuinness 2. James Hillier 3. Michael Dunlop 4. Michael Rutter 5. Bruce Anstey 6. William Dunlop 7. Gary Johnson 8. Guy Martin 9. Ian Hutchinson 10. Conor Cummins 11. Dean Harrison 12. Keith Amor 13. Lee Johnston 14. Ryan Farquhar 15. Dan Kneen 16. David Johnson 17. Peter Hickman 18. Dan Stewart 19. Cameron Donald 20. Steve Mercer Gonna be some cracking racing that's for sure! M.

Looks like MD's getting on pretty well with the new Yamaha if this pic is anything to go by: Not too long before we find out if the bike can handle MD rather than the other way around I reckon! M.

A pretty healthy looking MD standing with McPint and he's full of positives about the new R1: Full story here: Belfast Newsletter but I really like the quote: “ No-one wanted the BMW last year, but now everyone wants one.” - I reckon they'll all be wanting the R1 in 2016! M.

Just read that MD is sorted for the Lightweight TT where he'll be riding a McAdoo Kawasaki 650. It's not been his best class but he'll be there or there about with that package I reckon. So, at the moment the following is confirmed: - Superbike = Yamaha R1
- Lightweight = Kawasaki 650
I reckon we're looking at a CBR 600 once again for the Supersport but what about the Superstock? You'd think an R1 would be the obvious choice but, with that McAdoo connection, there's every possibility the ZX10R could make a show. It's working out pretty well for that fella Rea in WSB at the moment so........ M.

First sight (for me that is) of the new R1. Dean Harrison will be riding this one at Scarborough this coming weekend: Full details here; Belfast Newsletter and it'll be interesting to see how the R1 performs against the TAS Beemer. M.

Well, if nothing else he's unpredictable!! The R1 has been dumped and MD's back onboard a BMW!
In practice last night he put in a 129mph lap with only 3 other superbikes ahead of him.......MD was on a stocker!
I reckon the Taz boys must be mighty pissed now he's likely to spoil their BMW love in. Cracking stuff and good on MD for having the balls to admit he was flogging a dead horse; the new R1s not well apparently with MCN reporting oil in the airbox among other things? Sounds like a bit more development is needed for the roads imho.

Looks like Philip McCallen thinks MD's switch back to BMW was the right move: Here the practice times from the fairly limited amount of practice this week: Isle of Man TT 2015 overall practice times
Superbike: 1 Ian Hutchinson (Kawasaki) 130.266 mph; 2 John McGuinness (Honda) 130.030; 3 Bruce Anstey (Honda) 129.96; 4 William Dunlop 129.42; 5 Guy Martin 128.96; 6 Michael Dunlop (BMW) 128.64
Superstock: 1 Michael Dunlop (BMW) 129.66 mph; 2 Ian Hutchinson (Kawasaki) 128.31; 3 David Johnson (BMW) 127.47; 4 James Hillier (Kawasaki) 127.12; 5 Bruce Anstey (Honda) 127.04; 6 Lee Johnston (BMW) 126.76
Supersports: 1 Bruce Anstey (Honda) 125.21mph; 2 Ian Hutchinson (Yamaha) 124.93; 3 John McGuinness (Honda) 124.48; 4 Dean Harrison (Yamaha) 124.36; 5 Gary Johnson (Yamaha) 124.31; 6 William Dunlop (Yamaha) 124.26
Lightweight Supertwins: 1 Ryan Farquhar (Kawasaki) 117.43mph; 2 Gary Johnson (WK) 117.07; 3 Ivan Lintin (Kawasaki) 116.80; 4 Jamie Hamilton (Kawasaki) 115.53; 5 Lee Johnston (Kawasaki) 115.39; 6 James Cowton (Kawasaki) 115.11.I have to admit I thought William and Guy Martin would be further up the timing sheets (although, in fairness, William is sitting 4th in the Superbike)? Where the heck is Guy Martin though? 5th in the Superbike with MD breathing down his neck and not in the the top six in the Supersport on the Triumph. the Taz BMW has got to be one of if not the fastest bike out there so, if he can't get to the top of the pack on that then I think this could be his last TT. That said, race day not practice is where it counts. M.

Have to say that MD looked at lot happier after practice on the BMW, he was right to change bikes, oil going into the air box on the R1, I'm sure at the back of his mind he would have been thinking "is this engine going to seize"
He done rightly getting a 128.64 lap in the Superbike practice on a Superstock machine.
Guy Martin just doesn't seem to have the pace this year but Bruce is going well on the Honda.

You're right about Bruce and I think both he and Hutchey are looking good for podiums if not the top step. J McG is also there so I think the big bikes is probably a four way competition with MD in that group. MD's 600 isn't featuring as strongly but all he needs is the right weather conditions and the rest will be chasing. I've got my fingers crossed for Ryan as that would be some comeback. M.
