What an amazing ride by McPint! He'd been looking a shadow of himself all week then.....boom! He won with 14 seconds to spare and threw in an outright lap record to boot - 132.701mph for fecks sake! He's within 3 of Joey's record and, as sad as I'd be to see it go, I reckon McPint would be more than worthy on this race result alone.
Sadly, young Jamie Hamilton had a major off during the same race and, although not life threatening, his injuries are described as serious. Thoughts and prayers within him and his family. Hopefully we'll see him back in the not too distant future.
Keep an eye on that Hillier fella by the way; 132.414mph is some pace and he's not been around that long. One to watch I reckon.
Finally, it was a TT to forget for MD sadly. I think the injury was more than being made out which made his 5th place in the Senior all the more impressive but, regardless, it was always going to be a major ask for him to replicate the 4 wins in a week from the last two years. Didn't help he changed manufacturers during practice week though! Only MD!
