Well here's how the weekend went Left Antrim around 9am headed through Cookstown, Fintona, Enniskillen by some very quiet twisty back roads. Stopped at a garage on the Sligo road, Enniskillen, for a coffee and ended up sheltering for almost an hour in their coal bunker waiting on a heavy shower of rain to pass, then it was on out the Sligo road to Sligo then Ballina, Newport and Achill Sound, (we were lucky to dodge the rain showers) and to the Valley Hostel Views from outside the hostel A lovely old house which could do with some TLC, although the rooms where spacious, clean and comfortable and for €20 per person per night including a continental breakfast it was value for money. So once we ditched our kit we had a look around and found the bar attached to the hostel. A quaint little place with a turf fire instruments sitting in the corner for anyone who felt like bursting into song, which served the nicest creamyest pint of Guinness I've had in a very long time (and the standard of pint didn't deteriorate as the night passed by) So we spent the Saturday night sampling the Guinness and listening to the singers ;D Looking his age The pressure and excitement is starting to show Drink ! Drink !One of the auld chanters I crawled of to bed around 5-30am and the bar was still singing A late start on Sunday, I got out of bed about 11am, had breakfast and a few coffees A wee run around Achill Then a run through Westport to Louisburgh and onto Leenane along the R335, a lovely twisty road with outstanding scenery, (I wish I had brought the camcorder) "That guttering would do my new house"Then it was back to Achill and another night of singing and drinking ;D But first we had to get some cash, we looked around Achill Sound for a cash machine and couldn't find one, until we had a closer look at the phone box A different route home on the Monday took us along some great twisty traffic free roads. A great weekend with great company, we'll have to do it again soon

Quite a weekend there fellas and good to see you keeping up the traditions of the Redliners!! ;D Looks like a lovely place and, once I'm back on two wheels, I'd be up for a return or something similar hopefully next year. Photo of the night has got to be: Pure Genius!! All the best, M.
