There is a series of motorcyle protests organised on the 25th of september for E.U. hands of biking. They are tryin to pass legislation which could mean the end of custom bike building and modification of motorcycles completely. They want to make abs compulsory , ban the use of motorcycles over 7 years old in urban areas and an electronic data system which they police can use to check youre riding emmissions and speeds. All engine tuning will be illeagal. If this come to pass it will be the end of a way of life for some of us. But it will definately take the fun out of biking. I think the yellow jackets are the least of our worries. I'm setting up this event page to make people aware of whats goin on. Any one who has in formation on local ride outs to protest this please post on here and send around to as many friends as you can. Its one day and if we can make em listen and realise just how insane these laws are it might just make a difference. But please these are meant to be peaceful protests. We are goin out to put our case across not to cause mayhem. If its any other way we will be playin right into their hands.
Come along and join our ride out organised in protest of the new EU anti-tamper laws, we are meeting at 12.00pm with the intention of having a leisurely ride out along the Northwest 200 circuit at 1pm.
All bikes, learners, trikes, mopeds, etc welcome...this affects us ALL!
