Well quite a few of us managed to get down there and support Jack at his first race of the year. Big thumbs up to Wes for helping out on both days: It's Mark's turn to push the fecking bike..... Here's the Team......: and the bike was looking good for the first race having performed well during Friday night's practice: There were some pretty suspect sponsors though....Gorgeous weather and everything was looking good for the first race. Jack even put the videocam on the bike so we could post some race coverage. All was well until just after the first corner of the first lap! There was a bang and the rear locked up!! Engine gone: The piston takes the hump!! ....Is that supposed to be there?Races over for the day but all was not lost. We all got stuck in and managed to do an engine change and Jack should hopefully have the bike up and running ready for Tandragee next week. That's if he can get the front sprocket off (eh Paul?). Thanks to: Jack - for walking the walk and letting us pretend we knew what we were doing
Joanne - for putting up with us and keeping us fed
Phil - for eating all the foodM.

A few more happy snaps: Jack's bike: And again: And put your hands together for the hardest working pit-crew in the land: And of course he'll get that sprocket nut off. He just needs a bigger hammer!

Great photos, good to have some quality photos rather than the one I would take.
I have managed to get some on board camera shots of the track day at Kirkistown on 3 May but i am having difficulty copying the files to the computer, I will hopefully have someting on the site soon
