And the upgrades keep coming. Spotted this on FleaBay and got in contact with the seller who was happy to see it go to a fellow competitor (well, you know what I mean..... ;D): It's the Sunter Clutch Cover/Oil Filter Conversion which comes in at over £110 just for the silver parts alone. I've got the lot for.............nah, that's MJM business only! ;D Anyway, the seller is a fella called Ken Davis who is pretty handy on a classic (and other bikes) around the IoM. He's very kindly offered to help us out as and when we ever need it - top fella: The cover's gonna need the Spray Meister's touch I think though? M.

Attended the Flag Seminar today along with Jack and now know my Yellows from my Whites from my Blacks from my Reds from my Yellow and Blacks! ;D Anyhow, and most importantly, the wee slip of paper saying I was there is on its way to the guy in MCUI who hands out the licences...........this might just happen you know While we were there Jack got a name to check out regarding sorting out the timing/PVL so we'll see where that takes us as well. M. PS. We've also sourced a Scitsu Rev Counter and the Clutch Lifter is now on its way to be worm drived.......

Well Marty and myself headed up this evening to do a bit more and we decided to start with the Primary Drive Gears: Had a dig around Jack's garage but couldn't find anything to fit (that looked like it wasn't needed elsewhere ) so Marty's going to see if he can get one engineered specifically for the job. Couldn't do anymore with that so we took out the back wheel and checked the drum brake etc which only needed a bit of a clean. Next up we decided to do the infamous brake bleed: After a fair bit of sucking we eventually managed to get the fluid flowing through and the brake bled fairly quickly. Jobs done for the evening we headed off and will probably head back early next week to fit the washer! ;D M.

Not sure where January went but it flew by and we didn't manage to get as much done as we'd hoped. Anyway, February's here and we've started off the way we hope to go on and got a fair bit done last night: A decent night's work and we're almost there; a rebuild, oil fill and nut and bolt check and the bike should be ready to go to the tuners.........if we can find one! M.

Well, what a day that was - all we needed was Noah and his feckin Ark and we'd have been squared away! Jack and myself headed down to Kirkistown for the first of three training days and it was a wash out. M.

I've been reading a lot of people complaining about the piss poor organisation of the day, the "organizers" knew it would be binned before they decided to turn up at 11am, didn't pass any information on to all the riders and why did they not have a plan B to cover poor weather conditions (it is winter) and will there be a refund of all or part of the £60 fee, seeing as they only covered flag training, which is free anyway.

Yep the organisation WAS like the weather.........shoite! They still took the £60 but are 'hoping' to let us have the next training day for £40. Suspect that will be more down to the owners of Kirkistown though..... The thing that will piss me off however is that there were quite a few who never bothered their arses turning up at all and it looks like they'll be able to rock up on the 24th and/or 3rd and still get their licence - should be told to feck off and come back next year! They won't be though........ Anyway, this is all about getting a licence to race and I'm another step closer to that so it ain't all doom and gloom. ;D M. Ps. You're right that there was no Plan B but, to be honest, there wasn't a Plan A either!

Jack's just spotted on Facebook that the next Training Day will be free - good to see a bit of common sense being applied. Mark. PS. Notice the MCUI website says nothing about it though.
