The three Amigos who make up MJM Classic Racing met up last night and got to work in prepping the K4 for next season. Yep, we're still convinced she'll do a race ;D so we've invested in a new PVL Ignition system and are looking to get the clutch sorted out once a for all......... Unusually for us we have decided to do things step by step (still no manual though..... ). The first decision was to lose the Castrol R which has been a pain in the ass sticking the clutch plates together better than super glue! So, we needed to flush the old oil out: Now this looks familiar... ;D How do you flush out Castrol R? With Aviation Fuel of course! A nice clean engine ready for the next step So, what's brought about this strange change of heart and decisions to do things in a logical, steady order? Not really sure but this might be a clue: We think Jack is suffering from OCD! ;D More updates to follow as we progress with the build and maybe some announcements in the New Year on our plans for 2013. M.

If I hadn't of been there supervising and using my torch, the spray meister would have missed bits of the engine, especially with his eyesight ;D

A good night indeed and more to come. As soon as Jack's got the other bits and lets us know we can arrange another trip up there. It would be good if we could have the bike off to the tuners before the turn of the year which would give us a couple of months to fine tune her before the season begins. Might even be ready for Cookstown - now that would be a result! ;D M.

Managed to get up to jack's tonight for another wee session on the rebuild: Off to Jack's iPad and one times adapter plate ordered. That was as far as we got but it's another step forward. Onwards and Upwards!! ;D M.

Good job lads, sorry could not make it, had table booked for night out with other half. ;D ;D ;D No worries mate - has to be done. I managed a cup of tea and a biccie at Chez Williamson myself. ;D We didn't get as much completed as we'd hoped due to the missing adaptor plate but there's no rush and Jack will let me know when we're ready to crack on again. I'll give you shout. M.
