Presume this is on Facebook (which I don't do ) mate? Doesn't exactly fill you with confidence does it Out of interest, do we know who the person above is as he hasn't got Jim Cray's name right but appears to be suggesting he's in the thick of it? If anyone turns up who didn't pay on the 24th and gets a free run out of it then that's a piss take - I'll be looking a refund and they can shove their licence up their a$$! I take it the extra Training Day they're looking at will cost us as well? How the feck motorcycle racing has survived this long I do not know!M.

Well, it appears they've decided to give us freebie alright: Only took them over a week to get it up on the website! M. PS. Weather's not looking too bad at the moment so I might actually get out to wobble around on Sunday. ;D

Some good snaps there mate and what a cracking day (feckin cold though : . After all the organisational cock ups of the past it was finally good to get out on the track and see if I could actually ride. We found out when I took the ZX out didn't we But, as Jack said, you're not a racer until you do a bit of off road on your arse so that's me then! ;D Looking forward to this coming Sunday and the chance to keep things upright. Everyone is more than welcome to come down to Kirkistown and be entertained by 'Flipper's' exploits! ;D Mark.

Jack and myself will be heading down to Kirkistown this Sunday for the final training session which looks like it'll be quite a lot of fun - lots of track time promised! ;D There might even be a surprise turn up of an 'old' friend who's been away for a couple of years...... If you're available feel free to call into Flipper's and Whinger's Hostelry where there's always a cuppa and a slaggin waiting for ya! ;D M.

Well a mixed bag of a day down at Kirkistown. The good bit was that there was more track time and we got to give group race starts a go which were good craic. ;D I managed to get my lap times down by about 2+ seconds (but still well off the pace) but, most importantly, I kept the bike on the track! The bad? The feckin classic played up................again! Jack collected it yesterday with the PVL all dialled in and the bike firing up perfectly well last night and this morning. As soon as we went to take it out on track it wouldn't start! Fecker! To make matters worse the starter motor blew up all around Jack, the classic's back wheel and poor old Davey's mint Fireblade! It was like something out of a comedy scene as me and Jack tried to clean the oil off his bike before he came back from the bogs - failed miserably and the look on Davey's face said it all. In addition, I then missed the practice session because I was too late to take the SV out. To be honest, Jack and me left Kirkistown wondering if this classic lark is worth the heartache? Give it a few days and we'll bounce back once again as we've come this far...........I think! Jack managed to get a few shots and videos from the day and he'll hopefully get them loaded up. Looks like Easter Monday might be the first race meet but on which bike? Now there's a question......... M. PS. That was the final training session so the licence should be in the post.....hoorah! ;D

Looks like Easter Monday might be the first race meet but on which bike? Now there's a question......... .....and the answer is? The SV! ;D We've decided not to rely on the classic and go for the trusty SV instead. My first race will be at Kirkistown on Monday 1st April - and it ain't no April Fool either (that'll just be me on the bike : ! Bike No 112 is the one to watch out for so don't hurt your neck following the other bikes just wait for things to quieten down and I'll be along in a minute. ;D Really looking forward to it and hope to see you all there. M.

Compared to last week the weather's looking good for Monday: A bit on the cold side though so getting heat in the tyres could be a problem and I see I didn't get a mention in the race press release either.....hey ho ;D M.

I know my place.............at the back! M. And I wasn't wrong! ....... Still, 4 1/2 years ago it looked like I wouldn't be doing very much at all so to be racing around a circuit having a ball and not getting in the way of too many others was a real result. If nothing else it reminded me why I enjoy biking! ;D A lovely dry (but cold) day at Kirkistown wasn't without its mishaps with me sliding off at the Hairpin during practice (minor damage and bruised ego) which resulted in a very steady approach thereafter. Sadly THEO (THe Evil One or ZX10R) did its usual trick of bucking someone off and it was Jack's turn this time round with a nasty high side at the Hairpin. Although the bike wasn't too bad the same couldn't be said for Jack's hand which took a bit of a battering. End result? A neatly shaved off fore finger and a one hell of a dislocated thumb which led to a 2.00 am departure from A&E with a cast as a pressie. Notwithstanding the above it was a decent day out. Not sure when I'll be racing (well, going out on the circuit anyway ) again as getting home on the right weekends will be challenging but I'll keep you all posted. M. PS. I think Marty has a few snaps of the day (including some fairly gory ones of that hand ) which he'll hopefully post up at some point.
