Well it looks like there was something wrong with Michael's arm afterall and nerve damage played a part: Michael Dunlop Confident of being Fit for NW200Definitely a tough cookie that one. Here's hoping he's now sorted and able to recover in time. M.

Last year's race highlights were shown on BBC 1 on the 14th of May so I would expect something similar this time around. M. Phil, Just read this year's Cookstown 100 highlights will be shown on BBC 1 NI on Tuesday 13 May at 11.05 pm. M. I'll have to remember to set the recorder timer for that. Thanks.

Well Michael's not had the best start to the season has he? I know he clocked up two wins at Cookstown but that was on proven machinery. He's now decided to sit out both BSB at Oulton Park and Tandragee to rest his shoulder - see more HERE. That leaves him with precious little time on the BMW before hitting Portrush....... M.

Well, it looks like William has put a marker down from the off and is clearly comfortable on the Tas 600 but, what was most interesting was the people who set the fastest times in the other capacities. Rutter fastest on the Superbike and Amor fastest on the 650 Twin. Thursday's practice and races should definitely be interesting and I think Michael will be up there alright by Saturday... I see Hutchy had an off but was given the all clear at the hospital but his finger reminded me of someone's crash on ThEO at Kirkistown..... Full write-up on all of Tuesday's practice sessions: HEREM.

Well that man's gone and done it again! Fastest qualifying times in the Superstock and Superbike today and on bikes he's had less time than a trip to shops on! Details are in this link: Dunlop tops Superbike and SuperstockI must admit though I've been a wee bit surprised at his 600 practice times with an uncharacteristic 12th place start for this evening's race. Interesting that he's on a new Honda this year with Lee Johnston starting in 3rd place on Michael's 'old' bike........ M.

Bloody hell - managed to stream the last couple of laps of the Superbike race! That was some run by Michael but I'm chuffed to bits for William. Maybe that's just the break through he needs on the big bikes? M.

Well Mervyn Whyte's gamble paid off over the weather. At one point it looked like another Saturday wash out but it all came good in the end. I even managed to get a mention on the BBC commentary from Steve Parrish! Awesome to see so many Norn Iron men on the top step and I think Michael's going to take some beating on that Beemer at the TT! Thoughts go out to Simon Andrews' and Franck Petricola's family and friends and hopefully both will make a full recovery. M. PS. As much as I admire young Seeley's talent, how many more times is he going to try a short circuit move on a road circuit corner? The outcome seems to be increasingly predictable....

I found myself wondering the other week about what Michael Pearson was up to these days and noticed he wasn't down for this year's North West? Sadly I found my answer on the news this morning. Michael had a really bad crash at Horice last weekend and is in a serious way. Thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. M.

All of the excellent racing at the North West sadly overshadowed by the death of Simon Andrews who suffered fatal head injuries during the crash at the Metropole. RIP and thoughts are with his family and friends. M.
