Well Cookstown's looking like it's going to be some opener for the season. William will be riding the Tas bikes while it's just been announced that Michael will be there on the Superstock S1000RR and a McAdoo ER6 Supertwin. Interesting that he's not entered a 600? More details here: Dunlop brothers set to ride. M.

Be good to see what Michael can do on the BMW.

There's no doubt he'll be quick enough but the question has got to be whether the Beemer can stand the bumps, jumps and shakes of a road circuit? I haven't seen too much written about the bike in terms of road racing so it'll be interesting to see how it gets on. M.

Did Kieth Ammor not ride a BMW in road racing a few years ago, can't remember how that bike performed on the road.

Did Kieth Ammor not ride a BMW in road racing a few years ago, can't remember how that bike performed on the road. Well remembered Sir! It was 2010 and Keith Amor rode the Beemer at the NW200, Isle of Man TT, Skerries, Armoy and Ulster. He had some cracking results as well with first places at the NW200 and Dundrod 150. It hopefully bodes well for Mickey D. M.

Cutting through the usual hype - it does look like Tas are giving William Dunlop the best possible preparation: M.

And William's not the only one doing a bit of testing: and he reckons a 130mph lap on a Supersport is within reach at this year's TT! I think this could be a battle royale....... M.

The TT racing should be interesting this year.

Almost missed this: First Two Rounds of BSB. Looks like Michael will be getting in a couple of BSB races. Should be interesting to see how he gets on against the likes of fellow roads man Hutchy? The Yamaha seems to be providing his team mate, Josh Brookes, with the goods already. M. Afternote: Looks like Michael is getting to grips with his Beemer rightly (and ahead of Hutchy....):

Hutchy managed to top Michael in the third test session at Donningon but he did quite few more laps in comparison. Good to see Michael knocking nearly 2 seconds off his lap time though - clearly getting to know the bike. M.

Looks like Michael's thinking big: He reckons six out six is his target for TT 2014! Bloody hope so that would be awesome but as much as I know he can do it on the 600 and 1000 bikes, I'm not so sure about the Supertwin? Given the right bike it's always possible but......... Still, here's the full story: Dunlop Eyes Six in a WeekM.

It might have been a wet session for BSB qualifying but Michael has really shown what he can do on the BMW: Anyone notice who's one place behind him.........? Shakey's no slouch wet or dry so I think MD's getting to grips with that Beemer which has clearly got the performance in the wet with 4 bikes in the top ten. For the full qualifying results: CLICK HEREWith Cookstown starting in 5 days time it's really building up to be something of a cracking season already. Anyone planning on being there? M.
